Chanthon Bun

Wellness Outreach Worker for New Light Program, Community Advocate, Asian Prisoner Support Committee

Chanthon is a Wellness Outreach Workers working part time for the New Light Program while holding full time positions at Asian Prisoner Support Committee and Asian Law Caucus, where he was also the Yuri Kochiyama Fellow. Formerly incarcerated, he is currently working as the Community Advocate at Advancing Justice Asian Law Caucus . His passion is in immigration work and freeing his community from ICE. In his free time he loves drawing and fishing!

Chanthon is a father of three boys. He is a 1.5 generation Khmer community member and is a model of how we can transform the community by transforming ourselves.
