Margaret Lee

Mental Health Worker

Margaret Kyongjin Lee (she/her) is a 2nd year MSW intern from UC Berkeley interested in immigrant communities, trauma and community mental health, and economic empowerment. Previously, she was the co-founder and co-director of Collab New Haven, a nonprofit that supports new small business owners with heart-centered and anti-oppressive programming. While there, she led program development, 1-on-1 counseling, and staff development. As a daughter of immigrants with north Korean roots, Margaret is committed to working with immigrants and refugees on trauma-informed, culturally specific healing, and co-building models of economic resilience based in solidarity and love for people and the land. In her free time, she loves to tend to plants, cook, spend time outdoors, and make crafts.
