Priyanka Khadka
Mental Health Specialist
In 2013, Priyanka came to the United States from Nepal with two suitcases full of dreams and hope. Like many immigrants, she experienced unexpected challenges that shaped her own mental health journey. Through those experiences, she discovered the importance of mental health and found her passion for helping others heal.
Since 2022, she has worked closely with youth from diverse backgrounds, creating safe, supportive spaces where they feel heard, valued, and empowered. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Development from UC Davis and her Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California. Her experience includes advocating for immigrant children through the Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights and completing her clinical training as a hospital social worker at Harbor UCLA Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center, where she provided biopsychosocial assessments, brief counseling, group therapy, crisis intervention, care coordination, and emotional support to patients and families across multiple medical specialties.
She is committed to providing compassionate, culturally responsive care and helping individuals discover their strengths, heal, and thrive.
