A Path To Healing
A Path To Healing is a documentary film focuses on the lives of Cambodian refugees in Oakland, CA who have been a part of the Center for Empowering Refugees and Immigrant (CERI) community. Part of the film’s focus will be on the current social challenges including the deportations. The film will include a brief history of the Cambodian genocide, life in refugee camps, and the resettlement in high crime neighborhoods of America. The film will also focus on the intergenerational services offered to the refugee families and their children, capturing the healing from the wounds of genocide through a vibrant and empowered community.
