A Path To Healing

A Path To Healing is a documentary film that focuses on the lives of Cambodian refugees in Oakland, CA who have been a part of the Center for Empowering Refugees and Immigrant (CERI) community. Part of the film’s focus is on the current social challenges including the deportations. The film includes a brief history of the Cambodian genocide, life in refugee camps, and the resettlement in high crime neighborhoods of America. The film also focuses on the intergenerational services offered to refugee families and their children, capturing healing from the wounds of genocide through a vibrant and empowered community.
